Steve Bowers started Love is Carriages in 1992 after his daughter rented a carriage for her wedding. He bought the carriage that transported his daughter and new son-in-law. It began as a father-son venture with one horse and surrey. Over the years it has expanded to include 3 surreys, 3 carriages, 1 limosine carriage, 1 wagon, a high wheel cart and a sleigh, along with 15 horses.

It is now a family business-all of the workers and drivers are close friends or family members. We are licensed and insured for your protection. You can be sure to have a wholesome quality experience with us! Come Ride With Us!

If you're in one of Guthrie's Bed & Breakfasts, give us a call for an exciting moonlit, romantic tour. Plan a picnic, a family outing, an office party, or just go out for the fun of it. Take the kids,they'll love it! Tour historic Guthrie at night, on special occasions, or just for fun! Our wedding packages are a wonderful romantic part of any wedding. We can Travel to any town for your special occasion. Packages start from $200.00. We have three surreys which can hold three adults comfortably, two Vis a Vis that can hold four adults comfortably, A Victorian Limosine that can seat twelve, and an Elegant white Marriage Carriage with red velvet interior .
